The owners of the Willowicke Inn in Williamston MI, kindly let the plein air artist paint anywhere on their grounds. I chose to paint a close-up of one of the barns. The hollyhocks were blooming and I like how I could see the small window on the opposite side of the barn. The sun was bright and the shadows were well-defined.
