This is a hand-painted watercolor. It is the first of two painted plein (out of doors) artworks painted at the Meridain Historical Village, Okomos, Michigan.  This is a one-of-a-kind painting in an impressionistic style. The custom framed, artwork will add charm and style to your space.

  • I step back in time when I visit the Meridain Historical Village. The village has restored 19th century style buildings with many inspiring places to paint. This piece was painted plein air (on-site). I liked the many colors, shapes and contrasts with a group of flowers in front of one of the buildings. It was morning and the sun and shadows were still low in the sky casting an angled shadow on the building. The flower patterns, shadows, and contrasting colors drew me to this scene.

    • Original watercolor (not a print)
    • Signed on the front
    • Painted on hight-quality, 140lb. watercolor paper
    • The artwork is 4.5” wide x 4” high
    • Custom matted and framed to 10” wide x 8” high
    • The custom frame is a Neilsen metal frame and single strength glass. The frame simulates the look of wood with its natural maple color and is ready to hang
