This painting was from a photo taken while on vacation. I was taking a walk and noticed the rowboat on this pretty pond.
The blue cast shadow of the near-by tree contrasted with the light and dark areas of the rowboat. The warmer yellow/green to the right of the boat is the shore and reflections are to the left of the boat. I like the simplicity of the artwork and how it contrasts with the colorful wet-in-wet areas.
