At second (and third and fourth) glance the objects in White Cups and Eggs are white, but not really. That’s how this painting came about.
The painting was a study of white objects, with one light source and how they related to one another. When I looked closely at the cups, eggs and tablecloth, I noticed the many subtle values of warm grays; so there were hardly any areas that were truly white. The original art was done in a painterly style revealing a variety of textures and brush strokes. The original art (not a print) would be a strong focal point to your space. The art is framed and ready to hang

I think it’s interesting that objects that are white, are really many different shades of other colors. That’s how this artwork came about.
